No problem, order now and with your full payment you will receive an engagement page. This page can contain information like, where you are registered, shower dates or even a copy of your local newspaper's engagement announcement.
How do I mail my pictures to you?
In order to get the best quality for your online album we need to have the original photograph. We understand how important your photos are to you and we handle them with care. You will be responsible for getting the pictures to us and we will be responsible for returning them to you. To prevent loss, we recommend you send the photos by a service that offers tracking (Airborne, Fed Ex, UPS, etc.) or by US registered mail. Please put the photographs in a plastic bag before mailing to protect against possible water damage.
What if I have a scanner or have taken pictures using a digital camera?
You can e-mail the pictures to us and receive a 15% discount.
In what form do you need my photos?
We prefer to use the actual proofs. If anything happens to them in transport, your photographer still has the negatives, so they can be reprinted.
What about the copyright on my photos? Is it against the law to scan them?
It is a violation of Federal copyright law to electronically reproduce a copyrighted image. In most cases, your professional photographer holds a copyright on your wedding photographs. Because of this, we
require that your photographer sign a release form to allow us to scan your photos. Most photographers are willing to do this (as they get full credit for the photos).
If your photos were not taken by a professional photographer (for example your mother or husband took them) the release will most likely not be necessary.
Can anyone on the internet see our album?
Your online wedding album will be password protected. You will be able to choose your own password.
How long before my online wedding album is available for viewing?
In general, your online album will be available for viewing within two weeks of receipt of your pictures.
Generally, you have a period of time between your receiving the "proofs" of your wedding and the time you need to return them to your photographer to finish the album. We only needs your photos for a few days at the most, we recommend sending us your proofs a couple weeks prior to sending them to your photographer.
In most cases, this means that your online wedding album will be available for viewing before your real album!
How will my friends and family find my album?
Once your album is complete, we will send you announcement cards for you to give out to your friends and family. On the cards will be the couples name, date of the wedding, the URL to our log in page and the password needed to view the album.
Do you make any other albums besides weddings?
Yes, we offer online albums for anyone that wants one including couples that have been married for many years, couples wanting to show pictures of their newborn baby, high school proms, family vacations, new houses, sports teams, anniversaries, graduations etc.
